Yesenia Lucía Cervera is a Chicana-Latina scholar who was born and raised in the Midwest in an interethnic Latiné family and community. She received her PhD from Indiana University in History, Philosophy, and Policy in Education. Her scholarly interests are focused on the intersections of Latina/o/x/é history and education through a cultural framework.
