CLS Alum Gilberto Osuna-León Helps Madison Respond to COVID-19

A recent news report on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on Madison’s Latinx community highlights the work of CLS Alum and Jesus Salas Scholarship recipient Gilberto Osuna León (’20).  As a bilingual COVID-19 specialist with the Latino Health Council, Gilberto works at Madison’s testing sites, registering patients, sharing results, and administering tests.  Having studied with Dr. Patricia Téllez-Girón during his time at the UW-Madison, Gilberto plans on starting medical school in 2021.
