Katherine Vieira’s “Writing for Love and Money” Wins Book Prize

CLS Affilate faculty member Catherine Vieira’s recent book, Writing for Love and Money: How Migration Drives Literacy Learning in Transnational Families (Oxford UP 2019), won the 2020 Edward B. Fry Book Award from the Literacy Research Association. The award recognizes books written in the last five years that advance knowledge about literacy, display inquiry into literacy, and show responsible intellectual risk taking.  More information about Prof. Vieira’s work is available on her website.
