Panelists including Christopher Saldaña (UW-Madison Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis), Aissa Olivarez (Community Immigration Law Clinic), Matt Sablan (University Health Services), and a representative of the UW-Madison chapter of Voces de la Frontera will address issues related to education, immigration, citizenship, and rights. Topics will include the legacy of Plyler vs. Doe, mental health, the rights of people with authorized immigration statuses, and popular responses to migration panics.  Details forthcoming.
