Join us for the Sobremesa Community Gathering Lunches! Representatives of a department or resource unit on campus will give short presentations and hold Q&A sessions for students from noon to 1:00pm. You can expect to have lively discussions about academic life, to learn about resources available on the UW-Madison campus, build a strong sense of community, and enjoy a catered lunch. The Gatherings are mainly intended for undergraduates who are enrolled in or considering the CLS major and certificate, as well faculty and staff affiliated with the Program.
The lunches will take place 9/18, 10/16 and 11/20 in the MSC Lounge in the Red Gym. On 10/2, 11/6, and 12/4, they will take place in Ingraham 336. “Sobremesa” refers to the tradition in Spanish-speaking countries of lingering at the table for conversation after a meal.
