The Latinx Academic Staff Association (LASA) of UW-Madison and the Wisconsin Alumni Association: Latinx Affinity Group (LAG), will host an in-person, all-campus Latine graduation celebration for undergraduate, graduate, and professional Latine/x/o/a and Hispanic identifying students on Saturday, May 4th from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. It will be a time to acknowledge our students’ dedication, perseverance, and accomplishments.
This ceremony celebrates the 7.1% of UW-Madison’s student body that identifies as Latine, including both undergraduates, graduates, and professionals. Graduates will have an opportunity to receive a graduation medal, take pictures, and celebrate in community over brunch. If you know of any students who might be interested in attending, please encourage them to complete the registration survey here by no later than Monday, April 18th:
