Dr. Reinoza is an Assistant Professor at the University of Notre Dame, whose research explores diverse facets of Latinx visual art and territorial representation in the United States, including its relationship to border discourse and activism though a decolonial perspective. She is the author of Reclaiming the Americas: Latinx and the Politics of Territory (2023), a visual, comparative, and interdisciplinary approach to printmaking in the United States. The study received the 2023 Outstanding Book Award, from the National Association of Ethnic Studies, and was a Finalist for the College Art Association’s 2024 Charles Rufus Morey Book Award. In collaboration with Karen Mary Davalos, Dr. Reinoza edited Self-Help Graphics at Fifty. A Cornerstone of Latinx Art and Collaborative Artmaking (2023). She has also published numerous articles on Puerto Rican, Dominican, and Chicano/a Artists.
