CLS Director Theresa Delgadillo Wins Teaching Award

Delgadillo cultivates a collaborative learning environment where students become familiar with one another and accustomed to engaging critically with each other’s ideas. This approach gently guides their engagement toward central literary and thematic aspects of the texts.

The teaching award is the latest of many honors she has earned during her career. Last year, she was named Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor. This is her first year as Director of the CLS Program. She joins a large and growing group of CLS budgeted and affiliate faculty who have earned distinguished teaching awards from the University.
